We cannot wait for YFC Camp this summer!

We know that sending your student away to Camp is a big deal, and we value your trust in us to provide your student with a safe and fun experience. The information below provides a lot of important information, but feel free to reach out if you have questions!

Cost:
$450 … but do not let the cost deter you from sending your student! We provide opportunities for students to earn discounts/scholarships for Camp through community service projects. The Site Director in your local community can provide more information about these opportunities. (Don’t know who your community’s Site Director is? Reach out to Chris Genders at cgenders@hoiyfc.org to find out!)

Your student will also want some spending money for road trip snacks and purchases in the Camp Store.

TRANSPORTATION 
TBD - we will be leaving from our office at 4100 N Brandywine Dr, Peoria. Check back soon on times for departure and arrival back!

Electronics:
All electronics will be collected and locked in a safe place when we arrive at camp.  Students can use the camp phone or a leader’s phone to call home if necessary. Please communicate with your camper when/if you want to hear from them during camp.

Phone:
The camp itself has little to no cellular service. In an emergency, please call the camp @ (262) 248-5500. During our time on the bus to and from Camp, you can reach your camper on their phone or through our leaders.

PROJECT SERVE

Have you heard of Project Serve? It is a great opportunity for students and adults who love Jesus and love to serve others. Project Serve team members help run the Camp by serving on teams that cook and serve food, clean bathrooms and common areas, run coffee shops and concession stands, prepare whole-camp activities, and more. Think of it as a mash-up of Summer Camp and a Mission Trip.

Project Serve's dates are slightly different from those of YFC Camp. We will depart on Saturday, July 25th, and return on Thursday, July 30th. Transportation is provided in 12-passenger vans driven by YFC staff members and/or adult volunteers.

The cost for Project Serve is only $200! We keep the price low in exchange for all of the work you will perform during your week at Camp.
